Ghinwa is the founder and president of EnVisionary Innovative Consulting; a coaching and consultancy firm for aspiring leaders, entrepreneurs and coaches around the world.
Prior to starting her entrepreneurship journey, Ghinwa has held a variety of senior leadership positions in 500 fortune companies. She has successfully built, developed, and led several corporate teams in a variety of industries— most recently in financial services.
Companies have continually relied on her skills, expertise, and vision to design and develop strategic initiatives that create value for their clients. Her reputation for coaching future leaders is well respected along with her solution-driven approach to overcoming any challenges.

My Story
My name is Ghinwa Merei. I was born in Syria and have been living in Canada for the last 20 years. Yes, I still have an ‘adorable’ accent and my hair is naturally curly!
I’ve always been unconventional, asking a lot of BIG questions and challenging the traditional way of doing things. Traits that were not as valued by many people around me, including me. It took many years and a lot of inner work on my self-development to not only embrace but celebrate being DIFFERENT, being an ORIGINAL.
Like everyone else, my life was full of ups and downs. Being an immigrant, I had to start my life and career from scratch multiple times. I had to work harder and faster to climb up the corporate ladder. Slowing down was a luxury I couldn’t afford.
Fast forward many years later, I had a very successful corporate career, a sizable net worth and a painful BURNOUT. Who knew I was not INVINCIBLE and there is a big price I had to pay for not prioritising my well being?
In retrospect, I can now see how my burnout was a blessing in disguise. It shifted my mindset and gave me the courage to quit my job, jump off the hamster wheel and start my own business.
But, this time, I was determined to do it differently. No more hustle culture and chasing shining objects. My definition of success became more about the growth & the impact I am making and less about my status.
My new business model is all about building a sustainable conscious business that is aligned with my values, superpowers, and purpose. A business that brings me joy and long lasting fulfilment. A business that makes a difference!
